STAPLER- A SHORT NOTE
The 1st stapler is thought to belonged to King Loius XV of France
Handmade staples had royal insignia and used to fasten court documents
1868-Charles Gould received a British patent for wire switcher which binds the magazines
That device was a predecessor of modern stapler
1868-Albert Kletzker got a patent for a paper clip in which a single staple will hold all papers but dont crimp which should be done manually
1877-Henry R.Heil patent the 1st machine which staples and crimps in single motion.
1879- George W.McGill produced the successful stapler commercially
The fixed anvil can be still seen on modern staplers
The BRINCO has a magazine of staples & is operated by pushing the black knob downward
