Braille-a short note
Braille enables blind people to read and write with a system based on touch .
Louis Braille (1809-1852) was 15 years old when he designed a system of raised dots to signify an alphabet so that it would be easy to read by touch.
He became blind at the age of 4 in an accident while playing in his dad's saddled workshop.
He studied at the National Institute for blind Children (Paris).
In 1821, Charles Barbier a former captain visited the school , where Braille was introduced to letter code that Barbier developed to enable soldiers to communicate without sound or light at night
The reader has to move his finger around to recognize the sound .
Braille developed a system of identical shapped dot, each with a space for 6 raised dots arranged in rectangular.
He published his work- Method of Writing Words, Music and Plain song by Means of Dots in 1829.
He became a teacher at he Institute for Blind Children
