Well, I’m very happy to narrate  about her. The one whom I’m going to narrate is an anchor, actress, producer, author, media executive. Her net worth is about 20,000 crores. 

She belongs to a poor family from Mississippi, her mom who was unable to buy a birthday gown for her birthday , stitched a dress from a potato sac, that much poverty. Her mom was a house- maid and her dad was a barber. This women was born when their parents were in a relationship . Later their parents got separated , she was raised up by her mom. When her mom was out for work , her uncle , cousin , neighbour , gardener RAPED her . She was mentally and physically abused by them . 

At the age of 14 , she was pregnant. Her mom got angry and she was sent off from her home . Later her baby died due to lack of nutrient . She thought of committing suicide . Suddenly an idea striked about meeting her dad. She went to him . He asked to promise her – daily she should read a book , learn 5 new vocabulary and narrate to him . Then only she can stay in this house and gets food . She unwillingly promised him . With frustration she started reading books and learnt new vocabularies . Later she felt in love with reading 

As a news reader , she got a job. By reading any sad news , she starts crying badly and when she reads a happy news , she starts laughing tremendously . Who will have her as a news reader if she reacts like this ? She was sent off at 8 months of joining . 

So , she worked behind the camera as a  assistant . One fine day , an anchor of a show was absent . With no other choice , she hosted it. After she hosted , when the guest explained their story , she reacted truly to it . TRB started increasing because of her sensitivity . Audience and people started loving this show . Within 25 years , this show became the no.1 show , most trending show , in India Satyame  Jayadey , Koffee with Dd, Vanakam Thamizha shows was hosted from seeing that show . 

If she recommends any book , that will be sold out in a day . In a pandemic situation of brain fever , she stated that a branded food was not nice , that company started lossing. People was influenced by her and started believing everything she said . In 1993 , she narrated her bitter past life , and she talked about CHILD ABUSE . Total America supported her. 

She has won many accolades throughout her career which includes 18 Daytime Emmy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Chairman’s Award, 2 Primetime Emmy Awards, including the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, a Tony Award, a Peabody Award and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, awarded by the Academy Awards and two additional Academy Award nominations.
