LAKSHADWEEP ISSUE

 I would like say this issue shortly with an introduction so it would be useful to understand . 

Lakshadweep, is an island and one of the Union Territory  and Kavaratti is it's capital. In Sanskrit , Lakshadweep means one hundred thousand or one lakh island.

Lakshadweep is also known as a Group of Coral rocks Island.  There are about 36 where 11 are Inhabited, 16 are Uninhabited 3 are Reefs and 6 are Submerged. 

Language spoken- Malayalam, Kesari, Mahi . Annual rainfall is about 150cm i.e. South West Monsoon. Sex ratio is 946/100. Literacy rate is 92%

It has warm and humid climate. It's famous for Calcium rich coral, Tourism, Cocunut trees. 

• People's occupation  of this island is mostly FISHING.
• Religion is Islam (majority)
• Alcohol is only available in a certain place for tourist 
• Till last December no Corona cases 
• They consume mostly non vegetarian because most of them are doing fishing 
• Less air pollution and less crime 
• Only Panchayat election conducted 

MANY SOURCES OF NEWSPAPER AND CLIPPING  SAYS BECAUSE OF A POLITICIAN , MANY  ISSUE ARRISED HERE .

  

ISSUES THAT  THEY FACED:-

• Instead of appointing a Adminstrative officer , a Politician was appointed .
• Anyone can buy a property i.e. real estate  
• Hereafter only vegetarian should be allowed in school.  There many consume non
  
  
  vegetarian .
• Those who have corona test result can come to island within 48 hrs.
• Now there are almost 70,000 cases 
• No beef import / export( many are Islamic religion ) 
• Mining allowed( clear pond and coral reef will be polluted)
• Alcohol can be sold anywhere. 
• Nurse who went on a strike for extra salary and importance , they all were suspended .
